Bryan Williams

Bryan is Vice President of Data Science at Edisen, a leading AI company, where he is responsible for creating and refining the quantitative analysis structure of the TONIK+ Video Intelligence platform, a video analysis tool that boosts advertising performance for clients such as Apple, Netflix, and Amazon.

Over the course of his career, Bryan has worked in positions ranging from Director of Analytics to Research Analyst and marketing consultant, with several organizations that included Los Angeles Capital Management and Equity Research, Geode Capital Management, Internet Brands and PPG Aerospace, where he was instrumental in investigating and implementing various value-add initiatives based on data and statistical analysis.

With over six years of experience in data science and quantitative analysis, Bryan applies the scientific method to solve problems and communicate complex findings effectively across all levels and functions. He is passionate about using data and research to create novel and impactful investment solutions for underdeveloped regions and markets. He is founder of Novatero Investments and the GAIA fund, a diverse global strategy equity fund under formation that intends to leverage AI and data science principles to produce extraordinary outcomes. 

Bryan is certified IBM Applied AI Professional and has multiple publications and honors in several scientific fields.  He is proficient in multiple programing languages and statistical modeling tools, including R, Python, SQL, Machine Learning (multi-armed bandit, logistic regression, clustering, Markov Chain Monte Carlo), Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI (GPT, Bard, WatsonX), Tableau, Power BI, MongoDB, Microsoft Azure, Datorama, Excel VBA, Google Analytics, MatLab, Infegy, HYFN8, Bloomberg Terminal, Capital IQ, and Looker.  

Bryan holds a Masters of Science (MS) degree in Financial Engineering from UCLA Anderson School of Management, as well as a Masters of Science (MS) in Chemistry from UCLA; and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Grinnell College.  He is a Board member of the San Diego Velodrome Association.
