Mr. Fanlo is an experienced corporate director, lawyer, and strategic investor with more than eighteen years of cross-border experience spanning corporate governance, private equity, commercial law, and strategic transactions. As investor and board member in Nexscient, he brings a strong foundation in corporate law, risk management, and regulatory oversight, together with a proven track record of advising and supporting high-growth enterprises through structural expansion, complex transactions, and evolving regulatory environments.
Mr. Fanlo has built a diverse legal and commercial career. He began his career as an attorney at a top-tier Philippine law firm before transitioning into corporate leadership roles. He later served as commercial counsel for Johnson Controls Inc. and CBRE Group Inc., where he developed deep expertise in cross-border transactions, enterprise risk management, and the negotiation and execution of high-value commercial agreements in highly regulated environments.
Currently, Mr. Fanlo serves as a director on the boards of several high-growth investment and operational entities, including the Nexscient’s subsidiaries, Crestview BPO Pte, Ltd. and Flipside AI. In these roles, he applies his combined legal, commercial, and investment experience to support corporate funding structures, oversee inter-company capital flows, and execute strategic mergers and acquisitions. He also played a key role in the cross-border acquisition and integration of Flipside AI by the Nexscient.
Over the course of his investment career, Mr. Fanlo has focused on evaluating and investing in both public and private entities, with particular emphasis on opportunities in the technology and artificial intelligence sectors. His background provides the Company with valuable insight into corporate structuring, international expansion, legal risk management, and strategic growth initiatives.
Mr. Fanlo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from the University of Asia and the Pacific. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila School of Law in 2007.
